Terms of Service

Effective 2026-08-11 · ZSX Aviation LLC

Not a substitute for official flight information. ZSX Aviation is a flight-planning and situational-awareness aid. It is not a certified navigation system and must not be your sole reference for navigation, terrain, or obstacle avoidance. As pilot in command, you remain solely responsible for the safe conduct of every flight and for verifying critical information against official sources before and during flight.

1. Who may use ZSX Aviation

You must be legally able to enter this agreement and provide accurate account information. You are responsible for keeping your credentials secure and for all activity under your account.

2. What ZSX Aviation is — and is not

We combine official government aeronautical and weather products (from the FAA, NOAA, and the National Weather Service) with tools we build — charts, airport information, weather displays, planning features, and an AI assistant — to help you prepare for and stay aware during flight. ZSX Aviation is an advisory tool. It is not an approved source of aeronautical data for navigation, does not replace current official charts and publications, and confers no airworthiness or operational authorization.

3. Data accuracy and currency

We source aeronautical and weather data from official U.S. government products and process it to display it to you. While we work to keep data current and faithful to its source, we cannot guarantee that any information is complete, accurate, or up to date at the moment you rely on it. Cross-check anything safety-critical against the official product of record. Weather displays are for strategic planning and awareness; they are not for tactical, in-cockpit avoidance decisions.

4. The AI assistant

Our AI assistant provides informational responses generated from our data and general aviation knowledge. It can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date, and it does not provide official flight guidance, clearances, or dispatch. Treat its output as a starting point to verify — never as an authoritative instruction.

5. Your responsibilities as pilot in command

  • Comply with all applicable regulations and use current official publications.
  • Independently verify routes, altitudes, weather, NOTAMs, fuel, and performance.
  • Carry required backup materials appropriate to your operation.
  • Make all in-flight decisions yourself; the app does not fly the aircraft.

6. Subscriptions and payment

Some features require a paid subscription. Pricing, billing terms, renewals, and cancellation will be presented at purchase. Fees are charged through our payment processor; you authorize recurring charges for the plan you select until you cancel.

7. Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service: no reverse engineering, no reselling or redistributing our processed data or tools, no interfering with the service or others' use of it, and no unlawful use.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ZSX Aviation LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of or reliance on the service. Nothing in this agreement limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

10. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept them.

Privacy Policy

Effective 2026-08-11 · ZSX Aviation LLC

This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We aim to collect only what the service needs to work well and to keep your account secure.

1. Information we collect

  • Account information — your email, name (if provided), password (stored only as a secure hash), and the aviation role you choose.
  • Usage information — how you interact with features, so we can improve them and enforce plan limits.
  • Assistant interactions — the questions you ask the AI assistant, to answer them and improve quality.
  • Location — when you enable it, to center the map and tailor nearby information. You control this permission.
  • Payment information — handled by our payment processor; we do not store full card numbers.
  • Security and audit records — sign-in events and account changes, kept to protect your account and meet our record-keeping obligations.

2. How we use it

To provide and secure the service, operate your account and subscription, answer your requests, improve features, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

3. How we share it

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us run the service (such as cloud hosting, our AI provider, our email sender, and our payment processor), under confidentiality obligations and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law.

4. Where your data lives

Your data is stored on Microsoft Azure infrastructure in the United States. Aeronautical and weather data originate from U.S. government products; each dataset's source is traceable within the app.

5. Security

Passwords are stored only as salted hashes, transport is encrypted (HTTPS), and access to systems is restricted. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect your information.

6. Your choices and rights

  • Access, correct, or delete your account information.
  • Turn location sharing on or off at any time.
  • Request export or deletion of your data (audit records may be retained as required).

7. Data retention

We keep your information while your account is active and as needed to provide the service. If you delete your account, we remove personal information, retaining only the minimal records required for security, legal, or accounting obligations.

8. Children

ZSX Aviation is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

9. Changes and contact

We may update this policy; material changes are posted here with a new date. Privacy questions: contact support.

Reporting a data problem

Safety reminder: ZSX Aviation supports your planning and awareness but never replaces official publications or your judgment as pilot in command. For anything safety-critical, always verify against the official source of record.
